Practical information

The conference will take place at the Institut de Mathématiques de Bordeaux, building A33, 351 cours de la Libération, 33405 Talence. It is directly connected with the center of Bordeaux via tramline B ( click here for more information on public transportation in Bordeaux).

The department is quite close to the city center of Talence offering a large choice of restaurants. There are also the Halles de Talence with many different foodstores (italian, moroccan, spanish, south-american, japanese,...) - Note that the Halles are closed on mondays!

Lunch on tuesday if offered to all the participants at Haut Carré (see center of the map above). This is a universitary restaurant for the staff and located nearby the math department.

A conference dinner is scheduled on tuesday evening which is also offered to the participants.

Hotels : Unless invited explicitly by the organizers, as a participant you should arrange your own accomodation. The university has some special rates at the following hotels, and when reserving you might indicate that you participate in a conference organized by our institute.

• Hotel Clemenceau (downtown Bordeaux)
• Hotel Gambetta (downtown Bordeaux)
• Hotel Victoria Garden (not far from Place de la Victoire, and around 5 minutes walking distance to the tramstation Bergonié which is on tramline B).

We published a list of participants online, which might be abused for phishing / fraud attacks. Please notice that we will not ask any payment, direct or indirect, for accomodation, conference fees or other. Please be careful if you should receive emails concerning the conference other than by a "u-bordeaux.fr" or "sciencesconf.org" email account !
